E-Resources Help

Having trouble accessing an e-journal or database?

How do I access electronic resources on campus?

Links to our e-resources can be found on the Brandeis Library website.

Electronic resources may be accessed from on campus through the secure wireless connection (eduroam) or through a wired connection.

How do I access electronic resources from off-campus?

Electronic resources can be accessed from off-campus by using any of the links to our e-resources on the Library website and when prompted, logging in with your Brandeis UNet account.

Please be advised that while traveling abroad, as well as to other university and college campuses, access to certain resources may be limited due to local firewall or network restrictions. However, if you experience an issue with a database, article, or e-journal, please contact us or email e-resources@brandeis.edu

Alumni access to e-resources

I am a graduate of Brandeis University. May I use Brandeis e-resources?

The licensing arrangements offered by providers of e-resources restrict remote access to current students, faculty, and staff of Brandeis University.

On campus access to e-resources

You are welcome to visit the Brandeis Library in person to access most of our electronic resources on any of the public computer terminals in the Brandeis Library InfoCommons without needing to login.

Off-campus access to e-resources

Remote access access to e-resources is restricted to current Brandeis students, faculty, and staff with a Brandeis UNet account. Brandeis Library licenses a limited number of paid databases for alumni. Visit our Resources for Alumni guide for licensed and openly available resources.

Borrowing

Alumni who are Supporting Members of the Brandeis University Alumni Association may borrow physical materials from the Brandeis Library. Please see the Services for Alumni page for more information.

BOLLI Students

The licensing arrangements offered by providers of e-resources restrict remote access to current students (undergrad and graduate), faculty, and staff of Brandeis University.

If you are enrolled in a BOLLI program, you are welcome to visit the Brandeis Library in person to access our electronic resources on any of the public computer terminals in the Brandeis Library InfoCommons without needing to login.
