Council of Science Editors (CSE) Style

The Council of Science Editors (CSE) Style is commonly used in the biological sciences and other fields of scientific study.

CSE style offers three different options for references. Consult with your professor if you're not sure which style to use for your discipline:

Citation-Sequence (C-S)
Citation-Name (C-N)
Name-Year (N-Y)
