GIS software at Brandeis Library

ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS are installed on the computers in the Information Commons, Farber 101 computer classroom, Digital Scholarship Lab, and Goldfarb Library Mezzanine classrooms. Open VMWare Fusion to run ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro on our library's Mac computers.

Get ArcMap

Brandeis students: Request a license key for ArcMap through your professor. The license will be good for one-year and is for academic use only. Once you have your license key, you can download ArcMap software from the Tech Help Desk.

Brandeis faculty & staff: Download the software from Brandeis on the Hub. Personal computers are included as well. Contact the Tech Help Desk if you experience any issues with licensing or installation.

Get ArcGIS Pro

Brandeis students, faculty & staff: Sign into Brandeis ArcGIS Online account to activate your ArcGIS Pro licenses. Once you've signed in, you will be auto-licensed for ArcGIS Pro Advanced and the following extensions: 3D Analyst, Data Interoperability, Data Reviewer, Geostatistical Analyst, Image Analyst, Locate XT, Location Referencing, Publisher, and Spatial Analyst. Your ArcGIS Pro username will be UNetID_brandeis.

Download ArcGIS Pro software from Brandeis On the Hub. Contact the Tech Help Desk if you experience any installation issues.
