Finding Funding

Some background for thinking about funding:

  • Some funding is advertised and some not.
  • Government agencies supply funding but so do non-governmental agencies, associations, and foundations.
  • Government funding-databases may advertise a range of projects, from research to construction.
  • The usual model of foundation-giving requires the seeker to research foundations.

In support of those seeking support, the university offers resources including the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, Foundation Directory Online Professional, GrantForward, and the Pivot database.
