A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is a web address linking to a website or online file. Instructors can use the URL resource tool in Moodle to share links with students, saving them time.
One way to add a URL link to a Moodle course page is by selecting the URL tool from the activity chooser.
Having multiple URLs on the main course page can slow down loading times and make navigation more difficult for students.
To improve organization and performance, consider adding URLs to a Page activity instead. This keeps the course page cleaner and allows students to access all relevant links in one place.
Students who select the Page activity will be able to view and access all the URL links that have been added.
