Online Mapping Tools at Brandeis

Brandeis Library provides free access to a number of online mapping tools for current Brandeis community members. Most of these tools are designed for people who are new to creating maps and using geographic information systems (GIS).

Attend a workshop

Brandeis Library offers free workshops for members of the Brandeis community. We currently offer GIS workshops on the following tools: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, R and ggplot, and Social Explorer.

If you can't make it to one of our scheduled workshops, you can submit a request for an ArcGIS, Social Explorer, QGIS, or R workshop. We can tailor the workshop to your discipline(s) or teach a general workshop. We just ask that there are 3 or more people interested in attending the session.
