Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies (Yale University)

Materials can be searched and requested from anywhere, but can only be viewed via Brandeis Library’s dedicated link to the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies after logging into your Fortunoff Aviary account. To create an account and search for and request access to testimonies, please follow the directions below.

Step 1 – Register for a Fortunoff Aviary account
Go to Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies and click Login and then Join Now to create your account.

Step 2 – Receive confirmation email
Confirm your account through the link in the confirmation email.

Step 3 – Search and request access to testimonies
Return to Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies and login with your Fortunoff Aviary account. Search for a testimony. Click on the testimony in the search results and click Request Access. Note: You only need to request access once. Once you’ve requested access to one testimony, you will obtain viewing rights for the entire collection. You should receive an approval email a few minutes after submitting your request.

 Step 4 – View requested testimonies
Once you get the approval email, go to Brandeis Library’s dedicated link to Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies and sign into your Fortunoff Aviary account. You will now be able to view all testimonies.
