Publishing Support

Publishing Support or Scholarly Communications refers to the process by which scholars and researchers share and disseminate their scholarly work. Since 2008, the Brandeis Library has worked closely with faculty, staff and students to promote the amazing research that happens on this campus daily. New forms of scholarly communication have emerged often seeking to address existing challenges with traditional publishing models, while at the same time leveraging the advantages created by the digital environment.

    • This page provide information about publishing agreements and issues you will want to consider when negotiating with publishers

 

  • Brandeis ScholarWorks
    • Brandeis ScholarWorks is our institutional repository that houses senior honor theses, master theses, faculty publications and several Archives and Special Collection's collections. 

 

  • Brandeis Library Open Access Fund
    • Brandeis University Library Open Access Fund is to extend the Library’s support of scholarly publishing to faculty, staff, and students in established scholarly journals that are not supported through subscriptions. The BIR is a great way to preserve your intellectual assets.

    • ORCiD (Open Researcher & Contributor ID) is a non-profit organization supported by a global community of researchers and organizations
