Google Scholar is a helpful resource if you have a citation and want to check if our library provides access to the full-text article. The Brandeis Access feature works best in Google Scholar when searching for journal articles. If you want to check if our library owns a book, you should search in Library OneSearch. Follow the instructions under "Connect Google Scholar to Brandeis Library" to enable the Brandeis Access on Google Scholar. The Brandeis Access link will either appear in the right-hand sidebar menu or below an item record (click >> to expand).
You can also use the "Cited by" link that appears under a search result in Google Scholar to find articles and books that have cited the source in the result. This is a great way to get a sense of the conversation happening among scholars on your topic!
1. Go to Google Scholar and click on "Settings" in the menu bar.
2. Click on "Library Links."
3. Type "Brandeis" into the search bar.
4. Select "Brandeis University - Brandeis Access"
5. Click "Save."
