Zotero for Mobile

As of February 2024, Zotero has an official mobile app for iOS, and an Android version is in development.  See Zotero for Mobile for the most up-to-date information.

Special Considerations for Chromebooks

  1. You can install the Zotero Connector in your web browser and enable saving to your Zotero web library. This will let you add citations to your library even if you don't have the standalone software installed. This option will not provide you with the ability to generate citations using the Google Docs plugin.

  2. You can still manually generate individual citations or a full bibliography within your Zotero web library and copy/paste it into your document. While in your web library, select the citations you'd like to use and use the buttons labelled "Create citations" or "Create bibliography" in order to generate text that can be copied and pasted into your document.

Save Citations to Your Library without a Zotero Connector

If you're using a mobile device or a desktop browser without a Zotero Connector, you can save items to your zotero.org account using zotero.org/saveYou can then access and edit your web library on any web browser or mobile device.
