More than three or four video player embeds (even if they are from YouTube or Echo360) will significantly slow down the loading of a Moodle page and potentially make it unstable.
Moodle is a series of web pages that load in a web browser, and does not contain the kind of architecture that can be found in online streaming applications such as YouTube and Netflix. Too many player embeds within the home page of a course or even a secondary page will make it challenging for other participants to load.
The recommendation is to limit the number of embedded video players and instead use links to the videos hosting location directly.
